S-TGDH, secure enhanced group management protocol in ad hoc networks
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present and analyse a secure protocol for group management, in large and dynamic ad hoc networks. The protocol we suggest relies on the TGDH protocol. In comparison with the previous solution, our algorithm helps to uniformly dispatch the group key calculus on each node, and the global cryptographic tree is optimized. Moreover, we propose an authentication algorithm. Our algorithm provides several well-known security properties, such as nodes authentication, messages freshness, passive attacks resistance and known key attack resistance.

A Novel Approach towards Cost Effective Region-Based Group Key Agreement Protocol for Secure Group Communication
This paper addresses an interesting security problem in wireless ad hoc networks: the Dynamic Group Key Agreement key establishment. For secure group communication in an Ad hoc network, a group key shared by all group members is required. This group key should be updated when there are membership changes (when the new member joins or current member leaves) in the group. In this paper, We propos...
متن کاملSecure Routing Protocol: Affection on MANETs Performance
In mobile ad hoc networks, the absence ofinfrastructure and the consequent absence of authorizationfacilities impede the usual practice of establishing a practicalcriterion to distinguishing nodes as trusted and distrusted.Since all nodes in the MANETs would be used as router inmulti-hop applications, secure routing protocols have vital rulein the security of the network. So evaluating the perf...
متن کاملAn Enhanced Hybrid Key Management Protocol for Secure Multicast in Ad Hoc Networks
An ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile hosts forming a temporary network without the aid of any established infrastructure or centralized administration. This flexibility in space and time induces new challenges towards the security infrastructure needed to support secure unicast and multicast communications. Especially, traditional group key management architectures meant for wir...
متن کاملA secure group key management scheme for hierarchical mobile ad hoc networks
In this paper, we present a secure group key management scheme for hierarchical mobile ad-hoc networks. Our approach aims to improve both scalability and survivability of group key management for large-scale wireless ad-hoc networks. To achieve our goal, we propose the following approaches: (1) a multi-level security model, which follows a modified Bell-La Padula security model that is suitable...
متن کاملA Hidden Node Aware Network Allocation Vector Management System for Multi-hop Wireless Ad hoc Networks
Many performance evaluations for IEEE 802.11distributed coordination function (DCF) have been previouslyreported in the literature. Some of them have clearly indicatedthat 802.11 MAC protocol has poor performance in multi-hopwireless ad hoc networks due to exposed and hidden nodeproblems. Although RTS/CTS transmission scheme mitigatesthese phenomena, it has not been successful in thoroughlyomit...
